Jewish Federation Endowment Fund

The Jewish Federation Endowment Fund is a financial resource designed to ensure the revitalization and survival of the Jewish community of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

These Gifting Opportunities and Endowment Funds offer a wide range of innovative, community building opportunities to fund visionary ideas and dreams in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Donors may establish Named Funds within each of these Funds with a minimum gift of $5,000, or donors may make a gift in any amount to any of these Funds.

These Funds will ensure the continuation of quality Jewish life in Pike, Wayne, Monroe and Lackawanna counties for generations to come, thereby fulfilling the covenant that we make as Jews to assure our People's future.

Unrestricted Endowment Fund
A Fund designed to further the general Mission of the Jewish Federation - rescuing the imperiled, caring for the vulnerable, and revitalizing and perpetuating the Jewish communities of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Hebrew/Religious School Scholarship Fund
A Fund designed to provide need-based scholarships for Jewish students to attend Jewish religious schools in Pike, Wayne, Monroe or Lackawanna counties.

Israel Experience Scholarship Fund
A Fund designed to provide need-based program, semester or year-long Israel Experience study scholarships to Jewish high school students whose parents reside in Pike, Wayne, Monroe or Lackawanna counties. Click Here for More Information and Application.

Jewish Community Enrichment Fund
A Fund designed to promote special Jewish community enrichment programs or projects undertaken in Pike, Wayne, Monroe or Lackawanna counties.

Jewish Reporter Fund
A Fund designed to assist in the cost of publishing and delivering the Jewish Reporter newspaper to each and every identifiable Jewish household in Pike, Wayne, Monroe and Lackawanna counties.

Interfaith Dialogue Fund
A Fund designed to promote Jewish-Christian interfaith programs and projects in Pike, Wayne, Monroe or Lackawanna counties.

Leadership Development Fund
A Fund designed to cover the cost of developing a Leadership Training Program for the current and future Jewish leaders of Pike, Wayne, Monroe or Lackawanna counties. In addition to a Leadership Retreat, an Israel Mission and seminars on crisis management and time management, participants will attend experiential workshops on techniques utilized to conduct better, more productive Board meetings, Robert's Rules of Order, and a host of other aspects necessary for successful group dynamics.

Holocaust Education Fund
A Fund designed to promote an awareness of the Holocaust through the introduction of special educational programs in Pike, Wayne, Monroe or Lackawanna counties.
